ENTRY CONDITIONS
The competition is aimed at both amateurs and professionals of all nationalities and ages.
The entry fee is € 25,00 for one section and € 40,00 for 2 sections.
Each participant may present a maximum of 5 photos per section.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MATERIAL TO PRESENT
The works presented must be unpublished, each author is responsible. The images may be presented as Prints or as a jpg file. The size of the prints must be cm 30x45. The size of Jpg files must be cm 30x45 with a resolution of 240 dpi. The works must be accompanied by a complete signed application form that can be downloaded also from www.salernoturismo.it – www.enzofigliolia.it – www.corfuapartments.com

PRESENTATION OF WORKS AND THE APPLICATION FORM
The works (prints or CD/DVD) together with the application form, carefully packed, must reach, either via mail or via pre-paid courier or delivered by hand, by 10th October 2011, under penalty of exclusion (post mark will be proof of despatch), the following address:

Even though the organisers of the competition treat the works presented with the utmost care, they decline all responsibility relating to material which arrives late, for any loss, theft or damages caused to the same during transport. The works sent will not be returned and they may be freely used (quoting the author) for other events and/or publications regarding photographic competitions organised by the “Colori Mediterranei (Mediterranean Colours) Association and Photographic Club.
PRIZES
The first 3 classified in each section will be awarded prizes
The prizes will decrease in value starting from the 1st down to the 3rd classified position
If there are other sponsors, then the classification will be extended.
For the 1st prize in each section – offered by Corfuapartments
A 10-day holiday for 2 people in Greece (Island of Corfu) of which 3 will be spent on board a sailing boat (schooner). The 3 days on board the sailing ship must be spent with the winner of the other section. The schooner has 2 bedrooms.
For the 2nd prize in each section – offered by Barcellonaturismo
A week’s holiday for 2 people in Spain (Costa Brava)
For the 3rd prize in each section – offered by Salernoincoming and Travel Before
A weekend for 2 people in Salerno
THE PROCEDURE FOR THE SELECTION OF THE WORKS
All the works presented will be judged and after having checked the integrity of the parcels, the selection procedure will take place. The winners will be assessed according to the final and unappealable decision of the examining commission. The method used for the evaluation of the images will privilege: the technical skill of the author, the novelty and uniqueness of the photo, the originality in the presentation of any subjects included within the context of the photo.

4 days dedicated to the Mediterranean, with photos, the tasting of typical dishes, folk dancing and the presentation of the tourist package. During the exhibition tourist authorities and associations, restaurant owners, craftsmen and hosting travel agencies will be present.
